Hi. Your essay in the Globe and Mail really moved me. Thank you so much for writing it. My Mom has Parkinson’s and has moved to a nursing home in Toronto where I live. She used to live in Vancouver. Your article reminded me that my Mom is living with a disease in addition to a number of mobility / pain issues and that I need to take her words and behaviour with a grain of salt. I often get frustrated that she is uninterested in seeing me or her granddaughter. I am curious about the dance class you run. My Mom loves to dance and I think she would really enjoy the class.
